The trigger guard protects the lever from impact and stops it being pulled inadvertently when the nozzle is stowed or dropped. The block magnet is the part worth understanding: it works with a magnetic sensor on the filler to distinguish one fluid from another, which is how a system prevents AdBlue® going into a diesel tank or the reverse.
Part EG 281.4M, suiting the ZVA Slimline 2. Check the suffix carefully when ordering — the .4M and .3M variants are not interchangeable.
