Petrol vapour is the reason ATEX exists. The EX50 DC is Piusi's certified 12V pump for transferring flammable liquids in potentially explosive atmospheres — designed and built so that it cannot become the ignition source, whether from sparks, hot surfaces or static.
It carries CESI certification CESI12ATEX033X and IECEx CES12.0016X, rated II 2G Ex db h IIB T4 Gb for Zone 1 environments. The fluid list is broad: petrol, kerosene, diesel, petrol/alcohol blends up to 15%, and with the pump and flow meter only, AVGAS 100/100LL and Jet A/A1 — which is what makes it useful for aviation and marine work as well as industrial.
Supplied as pump only. Power cables and connectors must be selected on the basis of a site risk assessment, not picked off a shelf — the certification covers the pump, not whatever you wire it to.
