The ZVA Slimline 2 configured for petrol, rated at 55 L/min, with a green guard to the standard forecourt colour convention — which matters more than it sounds when several nozzles hang on the same dispenser and somebody is in a hurry.
Shut-off is by Elaflex's patented venturi system with a safety cut-out attitude valve: the nozzle closes when the tank fills, and also if the spout is pointed upwards or the nozzle is dropped. The valve opens with the flow for fine control at the end of a fill and closes against it, so there is no hydraulic shock through the hose.
ZVA nozzles are modular by design, which is the whole argument for buying them. Simple repairs can be done on site, and in a workshop the nozzle strips down and rebuilds in minutes. With one or two intermediate repairs a ZVA will regularly reach ten years of service or more — which is why, despite costing more than average up front, they show the lowest total cost of ownership in the category.
Fitted with a 3/4" breakaway swivel to protect the installation against drive-off damage.
